This is a new and convenient way to use standard needles with a metal grip to maintain the rigid feel and counterweight of a steel tube. If setup correctly, this system allows for a proper barrier from cross contamination without use of an autoclave. It is still recommended to wipe the grip with a sterilant between uses as you would your work station.

These tips have great visibility and come to a nice point. The biggest benefit is being able to see more needle even when you don't have a lot of needle hanging out.
The shape of the round tips is in between a round and a diamond. That said, it is the best of both worlds. It allows for maximum verastility and stability for a wider range of sizes.
This tip configuration is for your larger round needle groupings.
I prefer it for my traditional 9 rounds up to 14. (It still has more room for a larger grouping, but would more than likely be for a tight grouping or bugpin if in that 18 Round size.)
If using a tight 9, or 11, or in a bugpin configuration, I recommend the 5-11 size
These tips are hydrophobic and have an antimicrobial additive in them. That said, you may need to check with your local health dept for protocol on single use plastic products used in the tattooing process.. (such as ink caps)

Our gloves are made of a mixture of nitrile and organic material that our manufacturer blends together which is why they perform the same way regular nitrile gloves do while still holding the capacity to degrade quickly.
The organic compound additive attracts micro-organisms (bacteria, fungi etc) that literally consume the glove material. Once this process is complete the only thing left behind is H20, CO2 and methane. Our manufacturing partners also conducted studies on how this process affects soil and plants that are exposed to this and found that it has no detrimental affects on their germination or growth patterns.

Compostability / Biodegradability:
PLA is the common name for Polylactic Acid or Polyactide. it is 100% compostable and fully renewable. It can be converted back to monomer and polymer or it can biodegrade into water, carbon dioxide and organic materials. PLA is much more sustainable than petroleum plastic. PLA is made from starch rich plants such as corn, wheat and sugar beets. These plants are first milled to separate the starch, from which is unrefined dextrose is processed. The unrefined dextrose goes through a fermentation process and the result is lactic acid.
The tested PBAT polymer is a fossil-based, biodegradable polymer, which is used amongst others for the production of biodegradable, certified compostable bio-waste bags (according to EN 13432) or biodegradable in soil certified mulch films (according to EN 17033).
Our bags are a combination of PLA and PBAT bio-plastic.
