*This is a special run of Sidewinders built with the original V3R Armature Bar for an even heavier hit and slightly different feel from the current version V3R.
"Special Legacy Edition Sidewinder with OG V3R Armature Bar and Springs on the newer updated frame with DK Thumbscrew included! These Legacy machines are a little quieter and geared more towards being effortless with a stronger hit off the tip. These Legacy machines are intended for experienced tattooers, their happy place is for 7-14 Liners.
Also, please note the rubber band position is another simple tuning element. For lower volt operations, or harder hit, position the band pointing slightly up. This will reduce return spring tension thus making it operate better at slower speeds and decreasing the amount of give. Bonus is less strain on the rubber band.
These updates are in addition to the 2019 updated version which still has the same dependable and proven geometry as the original v3, but now revisited and remastered with subtle differences to improve overall performance. This is the most user friendly Sidewinder yet. The differences, others than aesthetics, is the numbered stroke wheel, an impact screw timing mark on the cam and frame (like the v5-6). Additionally, I did a new spring loaded vice lock setup that effortlessly clamps down your tube. The stroke wheel is indexed in 10 positions, and numbered accordingly."
Thanks for looking - Dan.
Machine Specs:
24k Gold Plated Brass Frame (*Finish may vary)
Black DK Thumbscrew and Blackened Brass OG Armature Bar
The renowned rotary liner. Effortlessly sink any size line by just grazing the skin.
The motor is the same as the V2-V4 Sidewinder, which has proven the test of time. It has been a favorite of the long time Sidewinder collectors.
Vice-Lock that easily tightens on nearly any tube
Great for all varieties of Line Work or as a Fast Shader/Packer
Timing mark on the cam and frame for setting the impact screw. (Just like the V5 and V6) **Special note, Legacy Edition machine timing marks are slightly off due to using the OG armature on the newer frames. Down stroke timing mark should sit just outside the timing mark on the high side. If you go much lower you will know as you will make contact with the top of the frame with the armature.
Numbered stroke dial so you can easily play with the stroke without fear of losing that sweet spot. You can’t make it too long or too short. Smaller number setting great for small groupings, large numbers large groupings. Machines are tuned and shipped on the 5 setting, some don't ever adjust this, some do, user preference.
Machine Setup:
Standard Needle on Bar: wrap a thick rubber band around the motor cap and across the front of the machine to add needle bar tension. It is recommended that you use Thick Rubber Bands and Dan's Perfect Nipples.
Cartridges: wrap a rubber band around the motor cap and over the top of the armature bar to counteract the cartridge's upward tension. Thick or standard rubber bands both work, it will just depend on the tension of the cartridge membrane or band to determine with rubber band provides the proper counter resistance.
*Completely black oxided. *please note that the brass will peak though over time where it sees heavy wear, adding to its character.

Limited Brass SOBA Lovebird Cartridge Liner - Black
Regular price$500.00 USD
SOBA Lovebird Cartridge Liner - Patina Brass Frame with Window
New Lovebird Cartridge Rotary! Built with a minimalist design approach, coupled with functionality and dependability, these rotary machines are plug and play ready to tattoo all day every day right out of the box. Lightweight Aluminum frame, built-in drive bar, clip cord set up, high end motor, 4mm stroke, highly functional pinch vise, and well balanced.
Some words from SOBA himself on this machine:
"The #LoveBirdLiner is my first rotary machine! It was designed to be a good outlining machine for cartridge needles. Fixed drive bar with 4mm fixed stroke.
I have noticed that most rotaries for cartridge needles are trying to be a “one machine that does it all” and I understand why that is desirable. However- one machine really can’t do it all, if you want to do it right. Different needle configurations perform differently and we get better results using machines BUILT ON PURPOSE. We get better results when we use the proper tools for the job.
I was not happy with all the machines I own as far as their performance with cartridge liners, so I decided to make one. This is a direct drive rotary machine with all the pieces in places for the purpose of making quality outlines. It was really fun to design and the body shape allows for some really fun laser engraving opportunities. I hope you all think it’s neat. Cheers to another 20 years of making devices for the purpose making tattoos. Thank you all for your support and encouragement!!! 💚🙏🏼💚"

Dan Kubin Mojobox V2.2 - Black Brass
Regular price$825.00 USD
Dan Kubin Mojobox V2.2
Newly remastered, this is the 2nd variant of the 2nd generation of the Mojobox. New spring setup that enhances performance, punch, adjustability, and makes it more cartridge friendly!
Now with more versatility and ease of hit adjustment throughout the tattoo. It is more ergonomic, more reliable, and most of all, more performance focused than its predecessor. It is a punchy coil like machine with the reliability and ergonomics of a rotary.
The focus of its design is to be more like a shader/packer that can also line well, whereas the Sidewinder is more of a liner that can shade. If you prefer more punch at a slower to medium speed, this is a great option. Excellent for fine line, black and grey, color packing with any size mag. Can drive 14 liners, if you prefer to “set the needle into the skin” whereas the Sidewinder prefers to have the needle floated across the skin.
The Remastered Mojobox has a numbered upstroke wheel (same as the V3r) which allows for a wide range of versatility throughout the hit once in the 5.3 and up voltage ranges. Simply turn the stroke wheel for a longer or shorter stroke. The 5 setting is middle of the road and what most people use. Turn up towards 9 for longer srtroke and down towards 1 for shorter stroke.
Intended for standard needle on bar. For cartridges, you may use a rubber band to negate the tension by pulling the rubber band over the top of the armature. Needle on bar will have more hit and cartridges will be slightly subdued and less aggressive which is the nature of a cartridge.
Typical operating range: 4 - 6 volts, sweet spot for most is 5 Volts on the 5 setting.
"Now with an updated weighted impact screw! I found that it helps with the stability of the hit, and improved overall performance. Also, please note the rubber band position is another simple tuning element. For lower volt operations, or harder hit, position the band pointing slightly up. This will reduce return spring tension thus making it operate better at slower speeds and decreasing the amount of give. Bonus is less strain on the rubber band.
Previous updates to the V3R include adding the coveted DK thumbscrew, moving the impact screw (the most crucial and misunderstood tuning element) to the front end of the armature bar and added a hardened steel impact pin so the machine will be easier to reset, and will hold its tune much longer. I also used a few tricks from the V7 to reduce spitting and make it hit a bit more rigid on the low end and added the backer springs as well to prevent spring breakage.

Limited Joshua Bowers 24k Gold Aluminum Big Can Rotary
A Few Words From Joshua about this machine: Super smooth and consistent machine. Powerful through the whole stroke but designed to back off slightly in the middle and back end of the stroke to prevent overworking the skin. Super versatile, great for color saturation, blending, and even black and gray. Plenty of stroke to hang out for nice traditional whips or back it up and increase the voltage for smooth saturation. Has a penetrating stroke down to 4 volts which is great for stippling.

Newly remastered after 6 years since its incarnation, this is the 2nd generation of the Mojobox. Now with more versatility and ease of hit adjustment throughout the tattoo. Plus it is more ergonomically sound, more reliable, and most of all, more performance than its predecessor.
Intended for standard needles. -for cartridges, you may use a rubber band to negate the tension, though it won’t perform as good as with a standard needle. Typical operating range: 4 - 6 volts Weight: 5 oz

NEW Dan Kubin V3/23 Sidewinder with RCA!
"The V3/23 follows the same concept as the past V3r, but with a focus on what makes a Sidewinder a Sidewinder. Hard hitting, effortless, and zippy. -Intended for experienced artists who don’t want to mess around.
The 23 model is more reminiscent of the original V3r from 2019, but with some enhancements in the tuning longevity.
We stripped it down a little more, and added in the extra performance. The stroke wheel has been simplified with having 3 timing marks instead of numbers. The marks are of different lengths, with the longest mark signifying the longer stroke range, a middle mark that is the default setting, and a short mark to signify the shorter stroke range.
The sound of the machine has been enhanced in comparison to the 2nd and 3rd variation V3r. Plus the machine now sits a little lower, providing more ergonomics."
Thanks for looking - Dan.
RCA version is wired for the harder hit mode only using RCA connection. If using a clip cord on this version, they are wired opposite of the standard clip cord version, use Positive side DOWN for hard hit, Positive up for a more muted hit.
This RCA motor housing was designed around a Critical Universal battery pack, but fits with most battery packs I have tried, such as Musotoku, Ink Claw, and Papa.
This will also work good with a right-angle RCA cord.
Clip Cord option still works, it is just wired backwards.
The position of the battery makes the machine’s balance point much more forward, like a pen.
Machine Specs:
Raw Polished Aluminum Frame with Blackened Hardware
Featherweight Aluminum version provides the same performance weighing in a couple ounces less than the Brass version at about 3.5 ounces
DK Thumbscrew, new Armature Bar, and updated Stroke Wheel for improved performance
The renowned rotary liner. Effortlessly sink any size line by just grazing the skin.
The motor is the same as the V2-V4 and V7 Sidewinder, which has proven the test of time. It has been a favorite of the long time Sidewinder collectors.
Vice-Lock that easily tightens on nearly any tube
Great for all varieties of Line Work or as a Fast Shader/Packer
Timing mark on the cam and frame for setting the impact screw. (Just like the V5 and V6)
Marked stroke dial so you can easily play with the stroke without fear of losing that sweet spot. You can’t make it too long or too short
