PVA was invented in the 1920s by German Scientists, and has mostly been used in medical, embroidery, garment and personal applications since the 1960s, for products such as medicine capsules and laundry detergent pods. PVA bags are widely used in hospitals for laundry bags - the soluble bags help prevent cross contamination from soiled laundry. The PVA bag traps the microorganisms inside and since the medical worker doesn't have to open the bag it reduces the risk of transmission because it can be placed directly into a hospital washing machine. The tensile strength of the bag will only begin to be compromised if it is drenched or submerged in water.

COMPOSTABILITY/BIODEGRADABILITY

PLA is the common name for Polylactic Acid or Polyactide. it is 100% compostable and fully renewable. It can be converted back to monomer and polymer or it can biodegrade into water, carbon dioxide and organic materials. PLA is much more sustainable than petroleum plastic. PLA is made from starch rich plants such as corn, wheat and sugar beets. These plants are first milled to separate the starch, from which is unrefined dextrose is processed. The unrefined dextrose goes through a fermentation process and the result is lactic acid.

The tested PBAT polymer is a fossil-based, biodegradable polymer, which is used amongst others for the production of biodegradable, certified compostable bio-waste bags (according to EN 13432) or biodegradable in soil certified mulch films (according to EN 17033).

Our bags are a combination of PLA and PBAT bio-plastic.

Uses:

External Use Only. Temporarily relieves pain and swelling due to tattooing, permanent makeup or other pain sensitive procedures.

Active Ingredients:

Lidocaine HCI 5% (Topical Anesthetic)

Tetracaine HCI 1% (Topical Anesthetic)

Epinephrine 0.1% (Vasoconstrictor)

Inactive Ingredients:

Purified Water, Ethoxydiglycol, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Metabisulfite, Diazolidinyl Urea, Disodium EDTA, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, FD&C Yellow 5, and FD&C Blue 1.

Directions:

* Sensitivity test advised prior to use.

• Apply sparingly to broken skin and cover with occlusive dressing.
• Product is ineffective when applied to intact skin.
• Wait until anesthetic effect occurs (2-5 minutes).
• Remove product before continuing with your procedure.

Other Information:

Store in cool dark place or refrigerate. Discard after expiration date.

Warnings:

• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not swallow.
• Keep out of children’s reach.
• Do not use if you have a history of liver disease or impairment.
• Do not use if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the components of this product. If sensitivity occurs, consult a doctor if condition worsens or does not improve in seven days, or clears up and occurs again within a few days. Do not use in large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas.
• Do not use if pregnant or nursing. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with copious amounts of eyewash. Seek care by an eye care physician. If accidentally swallowed, get medical help immediately.
• When using this product, you may notice temporary blanching, skin irritation or sensitivity of the skin where gel is applied.
• You may not have pain – avoid sources of heat or injury.
• You may have delayed swelling after drug is dissipated.
