New forward weighted version of the Mini Clipper designed and built by SOBA. These machines go above and beyond, providing both superior balance and performance. NEW Dan Kubin V3/23 Sidewinder with RCA!

"The V3/23 follows the same concept as the past V3r, but with a focus on what makes a Sidewinder a Sidewinder.  Hard hitting, effortless, and zippy.  -Intended for experienced artists who don’t want to mess around.

The 23 model is more reminiscent of the original V3r from 2019, but with some enhancements in the tuning longevity. 

We stripped it down a little more, and added in the extra performance.
The stroke wheel has been simplified with having 3 timing marks instead of numbers. The marks are of different lengths, with the longest mark signifying the longer stroke range, a middle mark that is the default setting, and a short mark to signify the shorter stroke range.

The sound of the machine has been enhanced in comparison to the 2nd and 3rd variation V3r. Plus the machine now sits a little lower, providing more ergonomics."

• RCA version is wired for the harder hit mode only using RCA connection. If using a clip cord on this version, they are wired opposite of the standard clip cord version, use Positive side DOWN for hard hit, Positive up for a more muted hit.
• This RCA motor housing was designed around a Critical Universal battery pack, but fits with most battery packs I have tried, such as Musotoku, Ink Claw, and Papa.
• This will also work good with a right-angle RCA cord.
• Clip Cord option still works, it is just wired backwards.
• The position of the battery makes the machine’s balance point much more forward, like a pen.

Thick or standard rubber bands both work, it will just depend on the tension of the cartridge membrane or band to determine with rubber band provides the proper counter resistance.
  

V3R and V3/23 Sidewinders are engineered, designed, and tested by Dan, milled in his most trusted machine shop in Kansas City, then built by DK certified trained technicians at the Workhorse facility in Michigan. All other models are built by Dan and his team in Kansas City. V3/23s go through rigorous QC checks and are all ran through our testing machine to lightly break in. One year warranty on all models. Limited Workhorse Hammers

This is a special edition run of custom mini sledge hammers we ran as year end gifts for our team of Workhorse builders. We ran a handful of extra hammers in case any issues arose with the builder gifts, but they all came out great and we decided to offer them to anyone interested. Only difference between these and the builder hammers is the exclusion of the builder names/logos on the handle.

We have lots of work into these and they are quite limited so we had to price them high. From milling custom heads, sanding, torching, and lasering handles, to antiquing, buffing, and clear coating....this project was fun but also very time consuming and involved.

These are heavy duty, fully functional, and will get the job done. They also look great on display hanging in your work station just in case the need for it's use arises.
