Our Co-Founder Julian Bast uses the cream during the tattoo application process as an alternative to the petroleum ointment, Vaseline. This helps to reduce the redness you see when the tattoo is finished - making it easy to take great photos of new work. It also helps to reduce the inflammation that can occur afterwards when the tattoo is wrapped. We recommend applying our Nectar to a fresh tattoo immediately after the session and just before wrapping the tattoo.
