Mike Pike x Ernie Carafa Cast Iron FRAME

Very special collaborative frame designed and cast in Iron by Mike Pike and Ernie Carafa years ago, recently found and pulled from rusty buckets, cleaned up, cnc milled with collet vises brazed in.

These are very limited and once they are gone they will forever be gone.

As described by Mike Pike:

I think it was around 2003 or 2004 Ernie wanted to make up some of these cast frames he made up a drawing and a buddy of mine that worked at the foundry in downtown LA made the match plate . Ernie was a good guy, and it was kind of like a tribute to him. It literally took forever for the guy to get the frames done and then milling was going to be done by another guy that had all the Frames but ended up passing away and then I mailed some in the garage and Ernie milled some and we built them up . He wanted to make he wanted to make the castings kind of thick to where they could be mailed to take any size coil and have a lot less draft angle than the ones that he did with Paul Rogers”
