The 46er is a culmination of my versions 4-6 Sidewinders, remastered and enhanced to perfection. This machine features a very large stroke adjustment range that can suite single needle work, all the way up to the largest liners and mag shaders.
This machine is very strong off the tip with a great follow-through. Its number one purpose is as a strong, precise, off the tip liner; though it has proven to be much more capable.
Highlights:
Beautiful 24k gold with blackened parts!
Wider springs for more durability.
Large, easy to turn, hardened steel stroke wheel. Pre-set stroke range and middle timing mark to prevent the machine from getting too far out of tune when experimenting.
Hardened alloy steel impact pin. Positioned towards the rear of the frame to help with noise
Large cam with precise timing mark. Allows for easier, and more precise impact alignment checks
Smooth, easy clamping tube vice.
Forward weight distribution for better ergonomics.
Reliable Mabuchi motor. -because they run forever without losing consistency.
Specifications:
Weighs 6 oz
Recommended voltage range: 4 - 6.5 volts
Approximate stroke range: 2 - 4mm (keep in mind the stoke goes up more due to the springs. The stroke of a Sidewinder cannot be compared to other rotaries as the hit is completely different)
Polarity: Positive up - spins motor clockwise - slaps harder, ideal for large grouping liners.Positive down - spins motor counterclockwise -slightly passive hit, ideal for shading and fine line

Todd Hlavaty Hand Engraved Snoop Dogg + Actual Dog + Filigree Touches
Marked stroke dial so you can easily play with the stroke without fear of losing that sweet spot. There are three lines on the stroke wheel…shortest line is for shortest stroke / smaller groupings, the 3/4 line is middle of the road for medium stroke / medium to large groupings, full line is long stroke for large grouping work. You can’t make it too long or too short, play with it and find the right setting for the work you are doing.
Specifications:
Normal operating range: 5.3 - 6 volts for lining, 4 - 5.5 volts for shading. It is not recommended to exceed 7.
Excellent for fine line, black and grey, color packing.
Can drive 14 liner
Intended for standard needle on bar. For cartridges, you may use a rubber band to negate the tension by pulling the rubber band over the top of the armature. Needle on bar will have more hit and cartridges will be slightly subdued and less aggressive, which is the nature of a cartridge.

The main goal for this batch is for simple tuning, but with the option to dial it precisely for those who know how they want their machine to run. Considered by some to be the most revolutionary Sidewinder yet.
The v7.5 Sidewinder has the unique ability to allow users to adjust stroke length and hit independently. This means you can keep the stroke that works for you while playing with needle groupings, style, and skin types.
Highlights:
Brass frame with Verdigris finish and Black side plating
Deluxe Blackened Hardware
Impact screw and Impact pin are now adjusted with the 1.5mm Allen key provided with the machine. Impact screw is also adjustable for precise tuning.
Straight angle on drive spring shelf on the armature bar, allowing for a more effortless and graceful hit.
More prominent timing marks on the side plate for the impact pin. (for advanced tuning/stroke adjustment, this helps with being more intuitive)
Crisp and clean acoustics, slightly quieter than other sidewinder models
Side locking screw is positioned to secure the impact screw most effectively
Specifications:
Forward, low and balanced weight of 6.2 oz
Recommended voltage range: 4 - 6.5
Great in the lower volt range for shading to color packing, fine line and stippled whip shading techniques.
It has 5 stroke positions ranging from 3.5-4mm. While tattooing, hit is controlled with adjustable return spring tension. If you want a softer hitting machine, you don’t have to compromise the stroke length.
