Black Thumbscrews are laser cut steel welded on 8-32 blackened precision screws and each include two black steel washers.

Workhorse Coin Thumbscrews are made from custom stamped brass Workhorse coins welded on 8-32 blackened precision screws and each include two black steel washers. 

Key Thumbscrews are made from old brass keys that we cut and then weld on 8-32 blackened precision screws and include two black steel washers. *May vary from picture, each key is different, no two thumbscrews are the same.

Workhorse Small O-Rings, ideal for use as spacers on Armature Bar nipples. Also applicable for use on Dan Kubin Sidewinder Armatures to silence them.

Softer than standard Buna-N O-rings for a better seal in low-pressure applications, these are also resilient and offer excellent tear resistance. They resist hydraulic oils and motor oil. These O-rings have a round profile and are suitable for a wide range of static and dynamic sealing applications.

Dan Kubin V3R Sidewinder

"Now with an updated weighted impact screw! I found that it helps with the stability of the hit, and improved overall performance. Also, please note the rubber band position is another simple tuning element. For lower volt operations, or harder hit, position the band pointing slightly up. This will reduce return spring tension thus making it operate better at slower speeds and decreasing the amount of give. Bonus is less strain on the rubber band.

Previous updates to the V3R include adding the coveted DK thumbscrew, moving the impact screw (the most crucial and misunderstood tuning element) to the front end of the armature bar and added a hardened steel impact pin so the machine will be easier to reset, and will hold its tune much longer. I also used a few tricks from the V7 to reduce spitting and make it hit a bit more rigid on the low end and added the backer springs as well to prevent spring breakage.

These updates are in addition to the 2019 updated version which still has the same dependable and proven geometry as the original v3, but now revisited and remastered with subtle differences to improve overall performance. This is the most user friendly Sidewinder yet. The differences, others than aesthetics, is the numbered stroke wheel, an impact screw timing mark on the cam and frame (like the v5-6). Additionally, I did a new spring loaded vice lock setup that effortlessly clamps down your tube. The stroke wheel is indexed in 10 positions, and numbered accordingly."

Machine Setup:

• Standard Needle on Bar: wrap a thick rubber band around the motor cap and across the front of the machine to add needle bar tension. It is recommended that you use Thick Rubber Bands and Dan's Perfect Nipples.
  
• Cartridges: wrap a rubber band around the motor cap and over the top of the armature bar to counteract the cartridge's upward tension. Thick or standard rubber bands both work, it will just depend on the tension of the cartridge membrane or band to determine with rubber band provides the proper counter resistance.

The #sobagrip is a comfort grip for Apple Pencil 1st and 2nd Generation.

The new 2nd Gen Apple Pencil can only be charged and paired by magnetically snapping to the iPad Pro. This makes all other grips obsolete! My solution is the channel which allows the pencil to be charged even with the grip still on it! The channel is wide enough to be compatible with the Apple iPad Pro smart cover. (Should you use a different brand of cover, the #sobagrip can be EASILY removed for charging. Easy on, Easy off!)

The 2nd Gen Apple Pencil has a double tap feature to quickly switch between brushes. The scoop in the front end of the #sobagrip allows for this function.

Made from firm rubber, the grip is very comfortable for long drawing sessions.

This is a new and convenient way to use standard needles with a metal grip to maintain the rigid feel and counterweight of a steel tube. If setup correctly, this system allows for a proper barrier from cross contamination without use of an autoclave. It is still recommended to wipe the grip with a sterilant between uses as you would your workstation. 

Quick and easy setup for standard needle on bar use with much less vibration than standard disposable tubes. Less vibration means less harm to your hands, tendons, and overall body stress for greater longevity and health. 

Utilizing a metal grip and small click in plastic tips, this system creates much less waste...about 95% less plastic than most disposable grips!

These tips have great visibility and come to a nice point.  The biggest benefit is being able to see more needle even when you don't have a lot of needle hanging out.

The shape of the round tips is in between a round and a diamond. That said, it is the best of both worlds.  It allows for maximum versatility and stability for a wider range of sizes.

This tip configuration is for your smaller round needle groupings.

I prefer it for my singles to 5's, and even tight or bug pin 7's.

These tips are hydrophobic and have an antimicrobial additive in them. That said, you may need to check with your local health dept for protocol on single use plastic products used in the tattooing process. (such as ink caps)

Tips for Tattoo Film Use:

- For maximum comfort, ensure skin is in a neutral position when applying Tattoo Film. When applying to elbows and knees, the joint should be in a neutral position — neither straight nor completely bent.
- Shave, shave, shave. Peeling Tattoo Film off of hair is unpleasant. Shave the entire area, plus an additional inch all the way around the site of the tattoo.
- Practice before you apply. If it's your first time using Tattoo Film, it may be a little tricky to work with. It doesn't hurt to practice with a small section first, just make sure you shave the area.
- When cutting the bandage for application, remember that rounded corners provide the best adhesion.
- It's okay, when using multiple Tattoo Film bandages, to overlap them by 1/2 inch (1 cm).
- If using a glycerin soap, such as green soap, be sure to rinse thoroughly, as any residue will react with the adhesives and can cause binding and irritation. Avoid loofahs or scratchy wash cloths.
