In the past we have reserved some of these specialty a-bars for only our builders, but per numerous requests we have now decided to open them up for anyone to use.

Precision milled from 1018 Steel; these are the same high quality bars our builders have used for years and continue to use on their Workhorse models as well as their various custom machines. Produced in house with quality and care.

Armature bars are listed in the order they appear in the picture from Left to Right.

Soldered 8 Wrap Coils

8 layer coils hand wrapped, soldered with 47 uf capacitor and lugs. 

Available as either 1" Mini Coils or 1.25" Full Size Coils

Deluxe Workhorse Armature Bar Fixture Set!

This is a very simple, yet effective tool used by our builders and many others. The perfect tool to easily attach springs to your a-bar while ensuring all parts are kept parallel and straight.

Deluxe Fixture works for 1/2" rear springs. It comes with or without our high-quality alignment tool and comes standard with a hole in the base to hold the tool and use the fixture as a machine stand, freeing up both hands for repairs.

Armature Bar Fixture Specs:

• Hardened Steel Base and Top Brackets to Ensure Years of Use 
• Standard 1/2" Wide Slot for Rear Springs
• Standard 3/8" Wide Slot For Armature Bars
• 1" x 3" Overall Part Dimensions
• Insert Alignment Tool in hole to use as a stand to help hold your machine while working on it

Alignment Tool Specs:

• 5/16" x 3.5" Stainless Bar
• Knurled Grip
• Armature Bar Nipple Slot on the top for alignment use
• Armature Bar Groove inside for tweaking / turning your a-bar if necessary.... we highly recommend that only those experienced with machine building and repair use the tweak option....it is not always necessary and not always the best way to make things hit flat, just one of many options.

Workhorse Thumbscrews

Here they are, all of our available thumbscrews that our builders typically use on Workhorse machines and customs.

Black Thumbscrews are laser cut steel welded on 8-32 blackened precision screws and each include two black steel washers.

Workhorse Coin Thumbscrews are made from custom stamped brass Workhorse coins welded on 8-32 blackened precision screws and each include two black steel washers. 

Key Thumbscrews are made from old brass keys that we cut and then weld on 8-32 blackened precision screws and include two black steel washers. *May vary from picture, each key is different, no two thumbscrews are the same.

Small O-Rings

Ideal for use as spacers on Armature Bar nipples. Also applicable for use on Dan Kubin Sidewinder Armatures to silence them. Softer than standard Buna-N O-rings for a better seal in low-pressure applications, these are also resilient and offer excellent tear resistance. They resist hydraulic oils and motor oil. These O-rings have a round profile and are suitable for a wide range of static and dynamic sealing applications.

5/64 ID, 13/64 OD. 50A Soft Durometer.

Deluxe Spring Set

The Mixed Spring Set Includes:

• 16 Rears (4- Short .018", 4- Long .018", 4- Short .02", 4- Long .02") 
• 18 Fronts - (3- Short .018", 6- Medium .018", 3- Long .018", 2- Short .02", 2- Medium .02", 2- Long .02") Total of 34 individual springs.

 The 18 Gauge Set Includes:

• 16 Rears (8- Short .018", 8- Long .018") 
• 16 Fronts (4- Short .018", 8- Medium .018", 4- Long .018") Total of 32 individual springs. 

**18's and 20's now come with a front hole punched in the rear spring and a slotted rear hole for a universal fit**

Workhorse Alignment Tool!

Designed by SOBA, this is the best tool possible to perfectly align your abar with your tube vise and coils, plus turn it sideways and it features a slot you can slide your abar into to tweak it if your frame is a little out of whack.
